Job Description :
The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that focuses on product producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically.

Component Test Engineer: Develop test programs for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), design test fixtures as required, and perform data analysis of tested devices. Use general purpose equipment such as oscilloscopes and generators as aid in testing electronic components. Direct support engineers in fixture development and electronic component testing activities.

Required Skills :
- Must be able to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering field.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
- Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

Desired Skills :
- Experience in Lab procedures - operating general purpose test equipment and ATE equipment (Automatic Test Equipment)
- Programming language familiarity including database related programming and scripting languages
- CAD skills for designing test fixtures, creating schematic layouts and/or component designs
- Existing security clearance and prior experience designing, testing and / or supporting aerospace / defense-related products
"- Machine shop basic skills

Required Education (including major):
Must have a BS / BA from an ABET accredited university with a major in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other related field by Summer 2016 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
