If your answers are yes, the Systems Design Center at Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) wants to learn more about you! Our headquarters in Tucson, AZ, is searching for several entry level Systems Engineers to join a growing team. The Systems Design Center is responsible for the overall technical integrity of the systems being developed, and is the point organization for coordinating GNC; Modeling, Simulation and Analysis; and Signal Processing support where required; the organization often takes the lead on Failure Review Boards, Engineering Review Boards, and other cross discipline engagements. The center is currently looking for entry level Systems Engineers to provide systems design capability for programs in various stages of the product life cycle.
The Job Title for a Bachelor of Science degree is Systems Engineer I. The Job Title for a Master of Science degree is Systems Engineer II.

Required Skills:

BS or MS in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Proven successful completion of a team project

Experience presenting technical information to a group audience

Proven strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
Desired Skills:

Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies (such as concept of operations definition, functional allocation, requirements development, and system verification and qualification)

Experience with model-based engineering

Familiarity with Lean and / or Agile development approaches

Proactive, self-motivated

Confident communicator

Thrives in a team environment

Required Education:

Bachelor or Master of Science in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens.
