As a defense contractor, there are specific programs requiring a certain level of security clearance and special access for assigned staff. The selected candidate will be required to secure these accesses. Not being able to secure the Interim Secret Security Clearance needed for this position may result in an offer of employment being rescinded.

Job Description:

The Antenna IV&V Systems Engineer II will provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity under mentorship of experienced engineers. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with an interest in Antenna Near-field or RCS analysis & measurement, and a desire to work independently and for taking on activities of increasing responsibility. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

Engage with System architect and technical lead in the design and development of Antenna Measurements Systems and RCS Measurement Systems.
Participate in technical peer reviews
Develop and enter System Requirements into DOORS
Prepare and present project status, special topic, and issue presentations to programs and operations team.
Review or generate requirements documentation.
Perform both High power and Low power near-field testing
Interfacing with their team lead, team members, and other teams (SW and HW) on a daily basis.
Providing task progress status updates and work products to the team lead.

Required Skills:

Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

Current graduate student or recent graduate of a graduate program

Familiarity with RF test equipment

Hands on experience with antenna or RCS measurement

Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Security clearance prior to starting

Desired Skills:

General understanding of near-field or electromagnetic field theory

Has experience in Antenna Near-field measurement and analysis

Ability to solve complex problems

Familiarity with MATLAB

Familiarity with DOORS

Required Education (including major): Must have a MS / MA from an ABET accredited university with a major in Electrical Engineering or other related technical degree by Summer 2015 or have graduated 18 months prior to start date.
