Our Engineering Team has a need for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to design, build, and maintain advanced high-capacity systems that process modern high-speed communications for the US intelligence community. Candidates should possess a good understanding of digital design processes for FPGAs, have some background in communications and be capable of translating functional requirements into an efficient working design.

The candidate will work with other experienced hardware and software engineers in our Sunnyvale, CA R&D office using cutting-edge engineering for the protection of our country. The candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and have ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment.

Required Skills:

Experience with Logic Design in either school or internship.
Implement FPGA designs in VHDL or Verilog and simulate their performance
Ability to obtain a TSSCI security clearance Desired Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to support FPGA testing
Help to define design requirements for FPGAs
Experience with FPGA design tools, development environments and languages (VHDL and/or Verilog)
Experience with DSP and/or network protocols such as TCP/IP and ATM
Hands-on lab skills using common test equipment
Experience with circuit card design and test
Equalization and demodulation of complex waveforms
Analyses and processing of modern telecommunications structures Required Education (including Major):
BS Degree from an accredited University majoring in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a graduation date of Spring 2014 or 18 months prior to start date.
