Job Description

Intelligence, Information, and Services (IIS) is seeking a Procurement Specialist I professional for the Cybersecurity and Special Missions (CSM) procurement team within the Integrated Procurement Solutions (IPS) organization. This position is primarily responsible for sourcing, negotiating, documenting, and awarding purchase orders, in support of CSM’s material and service based requirements, in the most efficient and compliant manner. In addition, the individual will be responsible for managing suppliers throughout the entire sourcing cycle including post award activities and purchase order close outs.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Compiles technical, quality, delivery, and contractual requirements to prepare/issue requests for quote (RFQ).
  • Ensures that enterprise, prime contract, and category/product/service specific requirements are properly communicated to suppliers.
  • Analyzes supplier quotes/proposals as well as industry/market/internal company data to select the most suitable suppliers. Performs price analysis as applicable.
  • Manages supplier performance to cost, delivery, quality, and technical programmatic/contractual requirements.
  • Interfaces with the company and supplier cross-functional teams.
  • Executes purchase orders compliantly to company and customer requirements including government regulations (such as FAR/DFAR), public law and Raytheon policies/procedures.
The individual will work extensively with CSM program teams, Material Program Managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of team and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and time mgmt. skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in a similar position, including working in a contract/subcontract/procurement role with responsibility for sourcing, placing orders, negotiations, supplier management, and overall compliance to FAR/DFAR requirements.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and productivity improvement.
  • Experience with SAP.
Education:
  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience).
