Job Description

This position is for a Hardware Quality Specialist for the Mission Assurance - Operations Quality Organization at the Andover Manufacturing facility. Candidate will be a key member of the manufacturing support team for final product acceptance, including presentation of deliverable hardware for sale to the customer representative. This role will be the liaison between quality management as well as customers for the final sale of deliverable hardware. Candidate must be well versed in inspection methodology for electro-mechanical assemblies as well as be able to interpret MIL specifications and drawing interpretation to make confident quality dispositions of suspect non-conformances, as well as interfacing with management and customers. The tasks of the job include physical inspection review of deliverable hardware as well as build documentation as required by process, technical data package, and contractual flow down.

This role will require obtaining a secret clearance.

Required Skills:

· 6+ years of general hardware quality inspection experience
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment with accept and reject criteria for general quality workmanship.
· Experience working with assembly build processes, interpreting drawings and/or contractual flow down

Desired Skills:
· Electro-mechanical manufacturing background
· Experience presenting deliverable hardware assemblies to DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) for final hardware acceptance.
· Good organizational skills and ability to effectively coordinate multiple activities; self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Personal ownership and accountability, the ability to find solutions in difficult situations
· Proven ability to work proactively with others, driving decisions while also functioning as a team.
· Ability to walk back and communicate concerns to operations and support team.
· ASQ certified Inspector
· Associate’s Degree or related experience with certification
