Job Description

The Phalanx/SeaRAM Finance Team has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to support the program’s international IOT production contracts. These contracts are fixed price awards for the overhaul and upgrade of Phalanx Close-in Weapons Systems (CIWS) and SeaRAM systems for inter-organizational transfer (IOT) contracts with Australia, United Kingdom, and Canada. Additionally, this analyst will be the main finance point of contact for program labor pool analysis. This analyst will be the financial point of contact for program management and includes interactions with various function organizations including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Recurring activities include:

  • Creation and management of project budgets
  • Weekly cost reporting to program management
  • Generation and analysis of monthly metrics
  • Quarterly Estimate At Complete (EAC) development
  • Trend and variance analysis to plan
  • Labor and Material Forecasting
  • Utilization of various tools, including PRISM and APEX

Do you have these required Skills?:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field of study and minimum 2 years of experience in finance related field or a MS degree in a related field and 0 years of experience
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, graphing, etc.)
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and financial acumen
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership
  • Demonstrated understanding of production, support, and discrete labor in a pooled production environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of Raytheon material processes including PRISM, PRISM EV, and grouping, pegging, and distribution (GPD)
  • Demonstrated experience with APEX (SAP) and Business Warehouse (BW)
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
  • Experience with Earned Value Management
  • Advanced data analysis and mathematical skills are preferred
  • Current Secret Clearance
