Job Description:
Seapower Finance is seeking a Manager I Program Cost Schedule and Control to join our team in Tewksbury, MA as the business manager for the Dual Band Radar (DBR) program. Primary responsibilities will include cost and schedule control and analysis, Estimates at Complete (EAC) preparation, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation/analysis, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). FP&A activities include assisting in preparation and analysis of the 5 Year Plan, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and monthly/quarterly forecasts. Responsibilities also include coordination and collection of data, analysis of data for financial accuracy and trends, and preparation of internal financial reporting and analysis of backlog.

The individual will develop program budgets, review actual costs, independently ensure company policies are followed and financial discipline is maintained, and frequently perform ad-hoc analysis. Frequent interaction with various functions and levels of the organization will be required, and therefore the successful candidate will possess strong presentation, communication and professional skills. This individual will require an ability to build a strong relationship of mutual respect and trust with finance, along with the cross-functional team.


Required Skills:
  • 6 years of related work experience
  • Experience in providing financial support for Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Experience in providing financial support for Estimates At Completion (EAC).
  • Experience with the proposal process.
Desired Skills:
  • Ability to provide leadership in directing and motivating personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines.
  • Proactive, creative and innovative in solving problems and issues.
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills, especially in coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines.
  • Strong sense of commitment to meeting deadlines.
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
