Job Description

The Air Warfare Systems (AWS) Product Line has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager III for the Tomahawk and NSM Programs. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: financial execution and compliance oversight, preparation of Five Year and Annual Operating Plans, monthly financial forecasts, Earned Value Management and compliance, coordination and review of Estimates at Completion (EACs), proposal and contract negotiations support, preparation for and presentation of financial reviews, and strategic partnership with the Program Director and Tomahawk/NSM staff.

A key requirement for this position is the ability to provide financial leadership for the Program in areas such as cost management, program execution, and new business capture. Tomahawk has significant production components but is also seeing a great deal of development work in their near future. As a result, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of EVMS concepts and procedures. Overall Program responsibilities will include the coordination and preparation of the Program’s Five Year and Annual Operating Plans, quarterly Estimates at Completion (EAC) presentations, monthly financial forecasts, monthly financial status and variance analysis reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing effective support to the Program and Product Line Leadership Teams
  • Leading the Program finance team
  • Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization.
  • Coordination of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC) for Program activities.
  • Managing to program budgets & financial forecasts for Labor, Material, & ODC.
  • Supporting proposal activities
  • Ad hoc support requests in a very fast-paced environment.
Do you meet these minimum requirements?
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and minimum 10 years of experience in a Finance or Business Management role, or 8 years Finance/Business management experience with a related Master’s degree.
  • Working knowledge and experience with APEX, PRISM, and related financial systems
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines
