Job Description

Job Description: The IIS Product Support Sentinel program team is looking for strong Program Manager that is an energetic leader, highly motivated with strong communication skills to provide flawless execution for the Sentinel Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) program. This includes Profit and Loss responsibility for approximate annual revenue of $20M. This position will have a direct interface with customers, suppliers and is a member of the Battlefield Radar Leadership team. The Sentinel LCCS PM will be responsible for successful program execution (cost, schedule, and technical performance) and capturing of new business while adhering to Raytheon Policies and Procedures. This PM will lead the program endeavors ranging from front-end capture, start-up planning and execution of the contract. The selected individual will be responsible for customer interface (internal and external) and customer relationship building including shaping new opportunities.
The role will manage a diverse team across multiple Raytheon sites (domestic and international) including depot activities, logistics support, training, technical material development, procurement of materials/services, material management, and IPT management. This position requires regular interface with upper management and all functional areas including but not limited to, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, Manufacturing and Depot Operations, Supply Chain, and EX/IM.


Required Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in Program Management or Project Management and a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience
  • Demonstrated understanding and proficient use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), EACs, financial forecasting, Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to effect change management including experience presenting to senior leadership and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time critical requirements
  • Knowledge of product support, depot and logistics/training capabilities and strategies. The ability to operate independently but retain a larger company focus
  • Leading the preparation of all material to ensure compliance with IPDS, EVMS and other specific functional processes, (i.e. EACs, Gates 3, 4 and 5, 10 & 11, CMMI, EPIC)
  • Proven leadership experience to include leading a geographically diverse team
  • Lead capture and/or proposal activities, including creating and executing customer contact plans, win strategies, and solution development
  • PMX Level 5 certified or ability to attain within 12 months
  • Earned Value Certification or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with radars (e.g. Sentinel, Firefinder, KRFS)
  • Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of IOT internal support environment and experience working directly with IDS customers
  • A strong sense of curiosity and self-motivation to find answers to daily issues
  • Strong team building skills to create and inspire a matrix team to a common goal
  • Experience in managing the execution of programs involving mission and lifecycle support services
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and technical aptitude with excellent business communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively across multiple levels of the organization from program leadership teams to functional experts and the IIS Leadership team
Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with a major in engineering, logistics, supply chain, finance, business or related field (or equivalent experience)
