Job Description

The Financial Planning organization has a rare opportunity for a strong experienced analyst. This person will be one of two team leads in the area who will be accountable to senior management, Corporate, and the Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Bookings, Sales, and Profit. metrics. The person chosen for this role will:

· Acquire full accountability for all the intricacies related to controlling, coordinating, scoping, and planning the bookings, sales, and profit metrics..

· Aid management by quickly assimilating into a team culture; serve as a mentor by developing others to ensure your

responsibilities can be covered during times of absence

· Proactively lead self-initiated analysis, solve problems, and resolve issues · Ensure that all assignments are prioritized and completed on schedule with adequate time allotted for management review

· Prepare and coordinate all metric assignments in a summarized format

· Prepare special projects and other assignments,as required

Prepare and present executive level presentations
· Network and build contacts within Finance and other Missile Systems organizations, other Raytheon Business Units, and Corporate

· Accountable for quarter close requirements (Corporate deliverable, PwC, etc.).

Minimum Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Finance or Cost Accounting with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or 4 years related experience with related Master’s degree

    · Ability to work in a fast paced environment and confident with being empowered to take

    charge and move forward with little to no direction

    · Demonstrates leadership skills by having the ability to influence others through leading and guiding

    · Strong analytical abilities to identify problems and influential enough to ensure corrective

    actions are taken in a timely manner

    · Aptitude for working in a team environment to achieve results

    · Capable of handling a high stress environment with multiple tasks going on simultaneously,

    new tasks layering in on top of the ones already due, revisions sprinkling in with no option for any of the tasks due dates slipping out

    · Strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable speaking in small groups; has the

    ability to confidently and professionally share opinions with every level of management

    · Poised and assertive to speak up and effectively lead and be a value added participate in meetings

    · Extremely organized; can easily track various revision scenarios

    · Confident level of exposure to reportable metrics (Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash)

    · Solid abilities relating to financial systems SAP, BW, etc.), and tools (Program on a Page,

    Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

    · Works exceptionally well in a team environment, but also enjoys working individually

Highly Desired Skills:
  • Inquisitive (and acts on it) with strong analytical and mathematical skills

    · Drive and influence for leading process change, willing and able to partner with cross business

    teams to improve and simplify

    · Experience in program finance (managing multiple contracts, earned value management, Estimate at Complete (EACs)

    · Balance sheet and income statement experience would be helpful

    · Strong writing skills (to include spelling and grammatical)
