University Programs -Recent Grads!

The Security Solutions (S2) program area of Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) has an opportunity for a contract professional to join its team at the Dulles, VA location as a Contracts Administrator supporting multiple U.S. Government and prime customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for management of various types of contracts/task orders, reviewing terms and conditions, processing change order requests and performing Contract Risk Analysis covering any unusual financial, technical or schedule risks. Contract Administrator will serve as the single point of contact with the customer and with Raytheon functional peers on all contractual matters.

Responsibilities also include reviewing RFPs, preparing proposals, reviewing contracts, and interfacing with customers to resolve problems and secure approvals. Provide assistance to Program Managers in achieving their financial and performance goals and objectives. Responsible for high volume preparation and administration of proposals, business agreements, and contracts of simple scope and complexity. Generate and maintain contract documentation and obtain management approval as required. Refer to policies and practices for guidance. Assist with negotiation and administration of awarded contracts and work with program teams to ensure successful contract execution.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to research compliance issues, applicable regulations and laws, and formulate recommendations to management.
•Strong desire to learn, take on challenges and achieve stretch goals.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and with minimal oversight.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office® suite (primarily Word and Excel)

Desired Skills:

Experience working with FAR/DFARS.
Prior experience working with basic financial business principles and have an understanding of applicability to contracts and business.
Effective communicator both orally and in writing.
Sets ambitious goals and willing to take on additional responsibilities when required.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Business acumen with the ability to recognize risk elements in business transactions.

Required Education (including Major):
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, English or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
