Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Accounting Senior Manager, this individual will be part of a dynamic team involved with developing and delivery of accounting training with a focus on Colors of Money and EAC policy and compliance. This high profile role will partner with business personnel in various functions and levels in the organization to understand the training gaps, develop the plan to overcome the gaps and deliver the required training to ensure ongoing success of the business and personnel. Tasks will also include supporting ethics/compliance investigations as needed, which may include data analytics and interviews.

Experience depth within the Defense industry to include experience with programs and/or compliance are key to be being successful in the role.


  • Serve as an advisor to the business on key policies and compliance related issues (i.e., Revenue Recognition, Estimates at Completion, Bookings, Sales & Backlog, Accounting for Bid and Proposal Costs, Deferred Contract Costs, Company Funded and Appropriate Requests, Colors of Money, etc.);
  • Interact with leadership across Raytheon and Space and Airborne business on various training needs;
  • Develop and present required training programs;
  • Update Segment level command media as needed;
  • Support and research ethics/compliance investigations;
  • Other assignments and special projects as required
Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ Years of Related Experience
  • Strong ability to appropriately apply policy and compliance guidance and training
  • Ability to present to large groups of people and answer a wide range of questions
  • Experience working in a matrix environment with a great deal of autonomy
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to travel
  • Aerospace/Defense industry experience
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
Desired Skills:
Required Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or related discipline.

This position requires either a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
