Job Description

We are looking for high-energy, self-driven individuals with a proven track record in design, development and integration of System Test Equipment (STE) for complex RF products, including test software development.

The successful candidate must have fundamental knowledge of RF testing methods and techniques, have hands-on experience using RF test equipment, and have test automation programming experience.
The candidate should be self-motivated, interact effectively within multi-disciplined teams with a desire to take on a future team leadership role, and engage effectively with internal as well as external customers, vendors and sub-contractors.
  • The candidate should be prepared to work in a high octane production driven environment and travel to external vendors and sub-contractors will be required. 70% travel local and out of state.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs the ability to access US only data systems and an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Required Skills:
  • Must have at least 6 years of experience in design, development and integration of System Test Equipment (STE) for complex RF products, including test software development.
  • Experience in test software tools including: C, C++, Visual C, LabView, LabWindows CVI, NI Test Stand or comparable.
  • Experience with lab test equipment including: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Scalar Analyzers, Signal Generators, Noise Figure and Power Meters.
  • Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting RF test equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Hands on experience in Testing, Troubleshooting and Failure Analysis of RF/Microwave components, circuits and products.
  • Understand customer requirements and accordingly prepare test specifications.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience working with Matlab and legacy DOS based computer systems.
  • Experience in design, testing, Troubleshooting and Failure Analysis of Microwave Integrated Circuits (MICs), Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs) and RF Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) ranging from L-Band to Ku-Band Frequencies.
Required Education:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related Technical Discipline.
Desired Education:
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Technical Discipline.
