Job Description

Individual serves as a program/capture manager reporting directly to Senior International Program Manager and responsibilities for over $50M/year of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Integration programs. The individual will require solid interpersonal /relationship skills to secure new business in support of the IFF Strategic Plan.

The individual will work closely with our customers and internal organizations to ensure program tasks are executed per schedule and cost. These Integration type programs will require the individual to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in addition to subcontractors. A strong understanding of cost accounting systems will be required to execute these programs.

Primary responsibilities include: coordination with engineering and the factory to ensure timely delivery, supporting customer scheduling of integration, managing potential sub-contract integrators, leading technical team to resolve integration issues and ensuring early. Position requires a customer focused individual with a technical background who is capable ensuring program success. The position will also be responsible identifying new customer requirements and supporting capture teams to win new business.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience leading multi-disciplined production teams, supporting Supply chain, operations, engineering and various other business functions.
  • Experience working in the defense and/or aerospace market with U.S. Department of Defense or other Government agencies and OEMs
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Capture/proposals
  • Managing a program IAW an Integrated Program Schedule/Cost Accounting System
  • Experience managing major sub-contracts
  • Effective communication/presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated customer relationship building and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working directly with International customers, and ability to travel up to 50%
  • Experience managing platform integration programs
  • Experience with Export/Import licenses and agreements and SDR policy
  • Understanding of Earned Value, Risk Management
  • Understanding of contract types (FFP, Cost Plus, T&M, etc.),
  • PM certification or ability to obtain
  • U.S. Citizenship, ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance within 1 year of start

Desired Skills:

  • Certified or ability to be certified Tier 4 PM or higher Earned Value Certification combined with robust knowledge of Raytheon’s Earned Value Management process
  • Knowledgeable in Risk Management and the application of Risk Management tools in program execution
  • Foreign languages (Korean, Japanese)
  • International program execution

Required Education: Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree or Bachelor Degree in a related field.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
