Job Description

The EO Space Electronics Department is seeking an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for Raytheon Space and Airborne System. The IPTL shall be capable of managing a multi-disciplinary group of engineers and subcontractors in developing Electronics for space applications. The IPTL will be in charge of developing technical baseline for his specific domain(s) of expertise (Digital Electronics, Analog/Power Electronics, EO/IR Sensor Processing, FPGAs) and administering budgets, schedules, and performance standards. The IPTL will also be responsible from achieving schedule milestones on-time and within allotted budget while managing his/her staff. The IPTL is expected to solve technical issues within his domain(s) of expertise and help team in overcoming issues that impede program progress, allowing core staff to concentrate on their given Work Products. This position will be responsible for generating financial Estimate at Complete (EAC), supporting program Gate reviews, and facilitate independent Peer reviews of all Work Products. He/she will also participate in new business activities including proposals, preparing bids, and developing basis of estimates.

In addition this position may be asked to lead current IRAD efforts.
The IPTL shall act independently, guided only by very broad company policies and objectives. The IPTL shall be able to apply advanced principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems which requires coordination of technologies across program requirements. The IPTL shall lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external stakeholders / customers.

Required Skills:
  • At least 10 Years of relative experience: participating in the design, development, integration/test, and sell-off of complex military electronics subsystems
  • Specific domain expertise in design and development of Digital Electronics, Analog/Power Electronics, EO/IR Processing, FPGAs
  • Requirements Development, Requirement Verification
  • Experience with developing technical baselines and cost volumes in response to Request for Proposals from the government
  • This position needs an active U.S. DOD Security Clearance with an SSBI of day one of employment.
  • Must have the ability to obtain higher levels of security clearance including special access
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:
  • Earned Value Management, Establishing and maintaining IMS
  • Strong presentation creation and delivery experience
  • Subcontract management experience
  • Supply Chain/procurement management experience

Required Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or very close equivalent discipline and at least ten years of experience.

Desired Education:
Master in Electrical Engineering, Physics or close equivalent discipline is a plus.
