Job Description

The Manager II is responsible for leading the Goleta, CA (Electronic Warfare) Planning and Production Control team as they plan, execute, and optimize programs utilizing Raytheon ERP systems. Planning & Production Control activities support all facets of the SAS business model including engineering development, production, and depot repair services. The Manager II is an active member of the site’s cross-functional Leadership Team providing insight, influence, and ownership on decisions relating to talent, strategy, cost competitiveness, and tactical execution. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Leadership of site Planning and Production Control Team currently staffed with 6-8 exempt employees
  • Supervision of Demand Scheduling, Buy, Make, and Repair order coordination, and Sell-Off / Shipment processes
  • Support of site level goal attainment including Kit Availability, and MRP On Time Delivery (OTD)
  • Support of SAS and Enterprise wide system improvement initiatives such as CMES and other ERP projects

Required Skills:
  • 8+ years combined experience in Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance.
  • Supervisory Experience / Leading Teams including building integrity through establishing trust and leading by example by setting high standards and expectations.
  • Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization and influence effectively at multiple levels
  • Sound business results orientation; ability to make data driven decisions with limited information
  • Ability to obtain DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:
  • Detailed knowledge of Raytheon ERP systems including PRISM, APEX, ICMS, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse, and PDM
  • Knowledgeable about general Raytheon financial processes such as EAC and EVMS. Ability to translate functional actions and decisions into broad business impact.
  • Current US DoD Secret Clearance

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (Operations, Management, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering)

Desired Education: MBA, APICS CPIM certification

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
