This ALR-69A EW PM is responsible for strategic planning and execution of multiple programs for the ALR-69A Product Line, including cost, schedule and technical performance.

The PM is responsible for total program performance including project execution, business goals and customer relationships. The PM should have thorough knowledge of USG product fielding requirements, including DT/OT&E, training and support, and guide the team through those milestones. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the DoD contracting process and be able to guide a team through the RFI, proposal, and through negotiations and contract award.

The PM will manage program performance including execution, financial objectives, risk management, schedules, and all other contractual commitments. The PM will interact heavily with the Government customer community across a broad spectrum of program progress and issues and must inspire confidence within this community that the Raytheon team/solution/approach is effective. The PM will advise management (and/or customers) through briefing packages that EACs, cost and technical proposals, Gate Reviews and Program Plans accurately reflect the program's health and/or are achievable. Given there are generally no direct reports to this PM position in the matrix organization, the PM must have good communication skills to engage the team and functional management in order to achieve success. This will include working with section and department managers to ensure the team members have the correct technical skills to support the product.

Required Qualifications:

  • DoD experience related to program management responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance
  • Experience managing engineering development, qualification, integration
  • Demonstrated experience formulating close working relationships to include listening, managing expectations, negotiating successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • IMS and EVMS implementation and execution, to include meeting EAC requirements
  • Ability to monitor, interact and course correct technical teams to support customer goals
  • Proficient in partnering in matrixed organizations (finance, contracts, engineering, supply chain, etc)
  • Experience leading systems development and/or design within the last three years
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance with in one year of employment start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems


Desired Skills:

  • Raytheon Program Management Level 3 certification or equivalent
  • Experience working government programs with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external
  • 5 + years’ experience successfully managing technology development programs and/or IRADs
  • Effective written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities of organizing and leading leaders to establish priorities, objectives and results
  • Working knowledge of EX/IM and diverse security requirements


Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Science or a related discipline and 10+ years of related experience, or Master’s Degree and 8+ years of related experience.
