Job Description:
Raytheon IIS IT group seeks an IT System Administrator to assist in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting large IT systems. The person hired will be engaged in the deployment and maintenance of automated infrastructure systems as well as supporting application developers and other users. The qualified candidate will have strong technical, time management, and inter-personal skills. Opportunity to expand into Platform Architecture, Platform Development, Hardware Infrastructure Design and Development. An active US Government TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly and US Citizenship is required as day one for this req.

Required Skills:
  • Strong/Moderate Linux administration skills
  • Security+ (or higher) Certification
  • Use of source control and automated build tools
  • 6+ years of related work experience
  • Active US Government TS/SCI security clearance and US Citizenship is required
  • Active CI Poly
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with any of the following technologies
    • Ansible
    • Chef
    • Redhat 7 (supporting services: Cobbler, Satellite Server, HA Cluster)
    • Hashicorp tools (Packer, Vault, Vagrant)
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes
    • Windows Server
    • VMWare
  • Excellent investigation and trouble-shooting skills
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash
  • Experience with Continuous Integration methodologies
  • Familiarity with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test Driven Development Methodologies
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related STEM discipline. Equivalent work experience can replace a BS degree.
