Job Description

An opportunity to work in a dynamic business area leading production programs within the Space Systems Business area. This role will be responsible for current and potential future domestic and international contract types. The analyst must work closely with the program manager to develop and maintain EVMS baselines that are compliant with the program requirements and internal EVM policy. This includes facilitating effective deployment of the EVMS toolset including SAP EV, PRISM and PMX. The candidate will also be responsible for the development of weekly program reviews, and reviewing and generating external customer reporting. Our foremost values are learning and growth. The Civil, Commercial & International Space Financial analyst position offers an excellent opportunity for someone to hone, as well as to increase their abilities in the finance and business management discipline. Areas of exposure will include FP&A, cost proposals, external EVMS reporting Material Cost Management and special projects.


Required Skills:

•6+ years of business experience in aerospace/defense industry
•Excellent desktop computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Proven ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and autonomously create and accurately analyze cost/performance data and associated metrics
•Good writing skills necessary to prepare and support written variance analysis
•Good organizational skills in leading/coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
•Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc.) in program development and implementation
•Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written
•You will work in frequent collaboration with others

Desired Skills:

•Proficient in the use of Raytheon financial systems, SAP, BW, APEX, RPLAN and PRISM tools

Required Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or other related Business Major.
