Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in developing the next generation of air traffic control and weather systems for civil and military customers around the world.

Validated TSSCI clearances are eligible for sign on bonus amounts up to $40,000.

As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Lead the planning and conduct of Test activities; define test plans and sequences relative to complex software and hardware subsystems and resolves identified conflicting issues.
  • Participate in a complex testing program; establish methods and techniques, plan tests, develop test requirements, write test procedures and reports, and conduct tests utilizing comprehensive knowledge of these complex subsystems.
  • Key participant in integration and test readiness reviews, design reviews, and audits of integration and test programs and facilities.
  • Utilize broad knowledge in test engineering and apply understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
  • Lead teams in conducting tests, which include collaborating with others in establishing language, database, and computer simulation requirements and configuration management techniques.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years demonstrated engineering experience with proven track record.
  • Ability to obtain SECRET clearance
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and activities
  • Integration and Test engineering experience on a system of systems development contract to include: development of integration and test plans and strategies, formal test execution and characterization of system performance
  • Experience in signal processing, radar system design and performance definition and optimization of radar systems
  • Proven experience leading formal readiness reviews such as TRR and SCR
  • Experience presenting to the customer and senior level management
  • Experience utilizing discrepancy report systems
  • Enthusiastic & energetic performer able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, & high visibility environment
  • Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal oversight

Desired Skills:

  • Active secret security clearance.
  • Test Automation (Eggplant, Cucumber, Gherkin)
  • Experience in the systems engineering, development and operation of Weather or Air Traffic Management Systems
  • Experience with test script or automation development
  • Familiarity with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Test Driven Development Methodologies
  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite such as JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, and Bitbucket

Education Requirements: Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 10+ years prior relevant experience.
