Job Description

Raytheon is seeking a successful candidate to supports the Inventory, Material Control, Property, Storeroom and Warehouse activities at the El Paso Logistics and Asset Management (LAM) locations. This position reports to the El Paso LAM Site Manager. The Logistics position is responsible for Inventory Control and Administration, Property Accountability and Tracking, and maintaining accurate records of material and equipment. The Logistics position will interface with MDO, Property and management for advanced planning. Close interface with Property is required to ensure accurate floor to record and record to floor control. Daily coordination with Production Control (Operations) on workload priorities must be established to support contract delivery schedules. The inventory lead is required to support and attend management status meetings.

This position requires independent judgement to make appropriate decisions in the area of Inventory Management. This role must understand the requirements of the storeroom / warehouse operation and programs to ensure that requests and projects are completed on time. Provides direction to teammates on proper segregation of material for processing Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Material (CAM). May provide direction to receiving and other personnel to ensure compliance with Service Levels. This role must understand production schedules and order fulfillment to include kitting.

Duties include, but are not limited to Inventory, Storeroom and Warehouse management;
Operates with minimal supervision in a reliable, dependable and accurate manner; Conducts daily interface with Logistics Liaison personnel to ensure timely support to production and program requirements; Conducts stores put away and picks; Create material demands, transfers and issues; Identifies process improvements within the assigned areas of responsibility; develops and implements effective solutions; Ensures job safety and security standards are established and maintained; Supports monthly inventory, mock and annual Contractor Self-Assessments (CSA); Provide reports to property and management; schedules and updates counts according to contract or FAR requirements, and may be required to conducts physical inventory of material in storage; Analyzes material inventories to identify retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of production and/or engineering; Provides performance metrics and analysis; Maintains GFM/GFE segregation in accordance to FAR requirements; works with Property to ensure GFM receipts are processed according to requirements; Maintains physical records related to the accountability and accuracy of material inventory; Prepares reports of inventory balances or value as required. May support data extraction and development of Program Reports to include CDRLs with data extracted from Prism, ALCS, ARMS and Repair Data; Receives count data from Stores issues, shipments, or transfers to record continuous inventory results; Acts as job control for Stores in monitoring PRISM transfer requirement/order queues and ALCS issue/movement transactions to ensure timely response to customer material needs; Resolve count discrepancies and identify process changes needed to preclude future discrepancies; Post GFM receipts to the appropriate data system and work with property lead to tag incoming property; Provide input for Basis of Estimate (BOE) and proposal efforts; Ensures job safety and security standards are established and maintained; Prepares reports for management and audit purposes; Supports Material Consolidation and Kitting; Conducts research in Prism, ALCS, Repair Data and ARMS.

Required Skills:
  • Experience working with internal customers and program management.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years prior experience in Logistics and Property to include Inventory Control and Administration and Property Accountability and Tracking.
  • Experience with Storeroom / Warehouse bin location setup and structure.
  • Knowledge of Government Furnished Material (GFM) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements;
  • Advanced Knowledge of Kitting Process.
  • Advanced knowledge of Storeroom and Warehouse operations and process flow.
  • Organizational and Time Management experience required.
  • Excellent computer skills are required and consist of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience working with a logistics warehouse operation, hazmat, storerooms and kitting operations.
  • Knowledge of shelf life control processes
  • Experience with continuous or cycle count inventory processes.
  • Ability to conduct research and work in multiple systems.
  • Prior experience with IM/WM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:
  • Six Sigma Certification.
  • Experience in SAP; Prism and APEX
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and related regulations as they apply.
  • Knowledge of IUID Requirements.
  • Hazardous certifications.
  • Prior experience with BOE and proposal support.
  • Experience with inventory sampling techniques.
  • Knowledge of Property Management.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor’s Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience).
