Job Description:

The Digital Module and Processor Products Department is looking for a Production/Sustaining engineer to lead efforts involving digital processor modules. The ideal candidate would be able to successfully lead, collaborate and coordinate with a diverse multi-disciplined team of 10-12 people from Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. Qualified candidates must be knowledgeable of digital processor modules and have experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies down to the component level. The candidate must be able to develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. The candidate must be able to set the technical objective of Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations and successfully lead the team to problem resolution of issues in production and in testing. The candidate must also be able to identify areas that need improvement within the current processes and be involved in the creation of troubleshooting guides and other technical documentation.

Required Skills:
-Minimum 4 years of experience supporting production and/or test in a manufacturing environment.
-Successful experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations.
-Knowledge of digital processor modules.
-Active DoD Secret Clearance required to start
-U.S. Citizenship

Desired skills:
-Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
-Knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication and circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
-Leadership of small technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, tracking & reporting, coordination and preparation of detailed technical team reports.

Required Education:
-Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience

Desired Education:
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
