Job Description:
This is an opportunity to join the Persistent & Strategic Sensors of the Mission Systems and Sensors Business Area as the P&SS FP&A manager. P&SS Program portfolio is within Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems’ Mission Systems and Sensors (MSS) Business Area located in Woburn, MA. Key platforms include International and Upgraded Early Warning Radars, ROTHR, & other radar platforms, This role is responsible for developing/reporting key financial metrics, and helping to develop the annual operating plan and five year growth plans on this $500M+ sales & $1.5B average bookings per year. The selected individual will work in a fast paced environment and will routinely brief various members of the P&SS and MSS leadership teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop financial forecasts and conduct analysis in support of the monthly Business Area Financial Reviews, quarterly Profit Reviews, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5-Yr Strategic Plan (5YP) reviews
  • Present results and forecasts to the P&SS and MSS leadership teams
  • Interface with MSS FP&A and accounting to support the monthly close and ensure accurate revenue recognition
  • Consolidate and report program metrics, CIP / actionable assets, and staffing analysis
  • Develop and manage monthly forecasts
  • Develop yearly NBI requirements and monthly NBI reports
  • Coordinate development of quarterly EAC schedule and reporting
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis
  • Actively support program bidding and pricing efforts, including, costing/pricing, analyzing cash flows, creating budgets in reporting tools

Required Skills:
· 8+ years of experience in a finance or business related role
· Experience with financial modeling and analytical problem solving
· Experience managing multiple priorities with limited oversight and prioritizing workload
Desired Skills:
· Ability to obtain a secret clearance
· Proven time-management skills with ability to ensure critical deadlines are achieved
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Detailed understanding of key financial metrics
· Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams and an ambiguous environment
· Ability to frame and interpret issues for Senior Management
· Experience with SAP, RPLAN, PMX Tool Suite, and MS Office
· Prior experience working on complex programs
· Previous experience/knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· Familiar with Raytheon Company structure, products, vision, strategy, goals, and values
· Existing secret clearance or ability to obtain secret clearance
· EVMS Certification
Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree business, finance, accounting or other relevant discipline
