Job Description

The SNS Business Office has an immediate Sr. Financial Analyst opportunity to provide support for AMDS advanced development and special program efforts. SNS Advanced Programs is part of the Standard Missile 6 Portfolio with yearly Sales of approximately $600M per yearwith a secure and stable long term business forecast. Responsibilities include management of both EVMS and LOE contracts, analysis of program performance, utilization of PRISM tools, establishing initial baseline for new awards, monthly forecasting, including tracking variances, interfacing with Cost Account Managers and the Team of Five, support of Government audits and ensuring compliance with EAC policies.

The primary focus of this position will be management of a new, full EVMS, multi year development contract to be awarded in the first quarter of 2019. Initial funding is already in place; in addition to managing the current funding the analyst chosen for this position will be responsible for supporting the full proposal effort, initial budgeting/baseline and assisting in the establishment of a new program office.

In addition, other tasks include working with bookings/backlog, maintaining monthly RPLAN forecasts, providing inputs to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5 year, maintenance of contract modifications, working capital and corporate ops presentation. The ideal individual for this job will be an excellent communicator with a desire to learn and be challenged, the ability to work on a variety of tasks, and the ability to interact with a variety of management levels and customer counterparts. This position will provide an opportunity to enhance skills in PRISM, estimates at completion, variance analyses, and other metrics and tools used in support of development and sustainment projects.



Do you meet these minimum required skills?
  • 4 years year's finance/accounting experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field or 2 years finance/accounting experience with a related Master’s degree
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution
  • Strong desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with APEX, PRISM, and Business Warehouse
  • Experience supporting contractual EVMS programs
  • Proven ability working independently and with higher levels of management
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance


Highly Desired Skills:

  • Minimum one year of experience with performing EVMS with MPM
  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment
  • Experience preparing contractual IPMR requirements for contractual EVMS programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and customer
  • Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience training finance team members in tools and processes
  • Understanding of AOP and 5 year processes, program forecasting and metrics
  • Existing Secret clearance
