Job Description


Financial Analyst Ifor the (RMS) RPM site. Raytheon Precision Manufacturing (RPM) is a metal fabrication organization located in Dallas, TX. This Financial Analyst I role is a team member of the RPM\\EOI Finance organization and partners with other functions to achieve RPM financial performance goals. The role involves working with cross functional teams and is responsible for the 5 Year Strategic Plan, the Annual Operating Plan, financial planning, Estimates at Completion (EACs), compliance and Forward Pricing Rates for approximately $300M in annual sales and more than 500 employees. The RPM site has their own Disclosure Statement and rate set. RPM site support RMS, SAS, and IDS business units via IOTs. The unique portfolio provides the successful candidate an opportunity to operate in a very dynamic environment as they work with RMS and SAS Finance, RMS Accounting, and all other functional leadership.
This position directly reports to the RPM/EOI Finance Manager. The responsibilities for this position will track, analyze, & report on different types of financial reporting requirements such as bookings, sales, direct material, direct labor, operating profit, indirect budgets, and overall rate performance. Other responsibilities include IOT sales projections & management, project set up, variance analysis, preparing EACs, and working with management establishing indirect budgets & base forecasts and other Finance duties required for the RPM site.

Minimum Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics Business Administration, or related field
  • Good working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements, and Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Ability to serve as a strong strategic business partner with the ability to transform tactical information into executable business plans.
  • Ability to analyze data and information to help ensure Operations labor and indirect cost performance track to plan
  • Ability to identify cost issues and develop corrective action plans
  • Possess strong problem solving skills with the ability to interpret, explain, and communicate information up and down the chain of command from business analysts to the VP level.
  • Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Understanding of financial statements and ability to translate, present, and communicate complicated financial information into understandable and executable strategic plans.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.


Highly Desired Skills:

  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
  • Good understanding how to develop and track Forward Pricing Rates
  • Experience with production cost, overhead management, and financial planning
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • , Economics Business Administration, or related field
