Job Description:

The Organizational Activities Interface (OAI)/Technical Support Engineer will perform operational checkout of the Korea unique communications equipment and all integration checks for all Fire Unit and BN equipment. The OAI will also perform all communications related maintenance supporting all training efforts. In addition, the OAI will advise and assist Korea Depot personnel in the authorize maintenance of provided communications equipment. Provide expertise on system software application (e.g., initialization, operation, and training). Supports tasks that insure the integrated PATRIOT System is fully operational to include all aspects of the Air Battle at the BN and FU levels.

This position is located in Korea.

Required Skills:

Must have four years of directly related experience in the Patriot Evaluation Section and Patriot Tactical.

Operations at the Battalion or higher level.

Demonstrated experience instructing PATRIOT organizational classes in the classroom and on the tactical equipment or Patriot Conduct of Fire Trainer in the following areas: RSOP/Survey, March Order and Emplacement, System Initialization and Mapping, Air Defense Mission (ADM) against Air-Breathing Threats (ABT) and Tactical Ballistic Missiles (TBM), Guided Missile Reload and ARTEP Battle Drills/Gunnery Tables.

Demonstrated Patriot knowledge on Brigade/AADCOM level TACSOP’s, and shall be capable of assisting in the training of organizational level system upgrades.

Must have successfully completed the Patriot Operator and System Mechanic MOS 24T/14E/140E conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or an equivalent course of instruction conducted by the Patriot Missile System Contractor.

Must have a current US DoD Secret Clearance.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of PATRIOT integrated battalion and Fire Platoon-to Fire Platoon operations, to include expertise with PATRIOT communication links.

Demonstrated one (1) year of Collective Training experience or assignment to a deployed PATRIOT Battalion in CONUS or OCONUS.

Demonstrated experience with Raytheon Quality Control procedures.

Demonstrated experience of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and check out (SICO) process.

Demonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics Support.

Demonstrated comprehensive planning skills.

Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with special focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the business.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.

Raytheon Six Sigma Certified.

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Applied Science with 4 years related experience. May substitute experience for education. (i.e., Associates degree/Technical School with 6 years of related experience, or High School graduate with 12 years of related experience.
