As an FPGA Engineer you will be an integral part of communications development team in our Sunnyvale, CA location. You will utilize your understanding of digital design practices and FPGA development environments, knowledge of HDL languages, experience in the design, implementation, and documentation of FPGA designs, exposure to the execution of FPGA component level integration and test plans, and experience with resolution of FPGA integration and test issues, to provide imaginative, thorough, practicable and organizationally aligned solutions to a wide range of difficult developmental challenges.

Required Skills
• Understanding of FPGA development environments and FPGA development tool flows
• Working knowledge of VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog HDL languages
• Exposure to the design, implementation, and documentation of FPGA designs from component level specifications
• Exposure to the definition and execution of FPGA component level integration and test plans
• Exposure to the resolution of FPGA integration and test issues in hands-on lab environments
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments
• Active TS/SCI security clearance

Desired Skills
• Background in digital signal processing and/or network processing FPGA applications
• Working knowledge of Matlab and Python
• Familiarity with circuit card design, implementation, integration, and test
