Job Description

Raytheon is seeking an experienced planning, and scheduling professional to join the Starburst program in Largo, FL. The program planner prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. They will determine, monitor, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Supports and participates in negotiations with customer. The PP will analyze effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. They will resolve proposal preparation problems and assess the progress against established plans and parameters. They will formulate and recommend corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

·Development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) based on requirements provided by the customer as part of a Request For Proposal (RFP); development of an executable IMS after contract award

·Resource loading the IMS prior to an Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) that demonstrates thorough cost and schedule integration

·Detail planning and maintenance throughout the program’s lifecycle that incorporates contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines

·Detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness and compliance.

·Communicate (electronically and verbally) schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis (SRA), schedule variance analysis and the results of ‘what if’ exercises to the Program Manager, the customer and potentially to senior management.

Required Skills:

·Degree or equivalent experience

·Must have minimum 6 years of professional experience

·Must have at least 3 years of experience in Program Planning & Scheduling

·Experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

·Microsoft Project experience (or similar project scheduling software)

·The ability to interface and communicate at all levels of an organization

·The ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment

·Current Top Secret DoD security clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Skills

·Knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process

·Ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction

·Ability to perform in an unsupervised environment

·Knowledge and experience in assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks

·Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
