Job Description:
The Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) division of Raytheon is seeking a team leader at Raytheon\u2019s Expressway site in Dallas, TX. This position is part of a pipeline for Junior Project Managers to support ongoing and future positions. The position will report to the Program Office and will work closely with the Program Property CFT and with the Product PMs. The team leader will support and may supervise and integrate the performance of program Cross-Functional Teams in support of program Product Teams.

Responsible for managing customer relationships (related to status of spares and repairs) and dealing with supplier/vendor issues as necessary. Must gain buy in and support from internal Raytheon stakeholders in the functional matrix and supporting factories.

Shares accountability and authority for leading and managing cost and schedule aspects of RSS Property Support teams. Supports and may set program strategy, vision and tactical direction for program execution by multifunctional team. This position will work closely with the RSS Property CFT and the RSS Product PMs.

Supports and may supervise and integrate the performance of program Cross-Product and Cross-Functional Teams. Focuses, evaluates, motivates and rewards the program team, enabling them to achieve desired results. The teams will be largely shared with the RSS Product teams, therefore this position shares ownership with the RSS Product PMs.

Supports and may establish an executable baseline; supports and may manage the program Rs&Os, in accordance with the financial plan. Supports and may set milestones and monitors adherence to program master plans and schedules. Uses approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identifies potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and supports the meeting of company\u2019s contract commitments.

Supports meeting contractual commitments including the financial, quality, technology, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries, company expectations, and established standards, using the approved business model and management tools.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 6 years work experience
  • Leadership skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be reliable, organized, flexible and detail oriented \u2013 a team player
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively
  • Able to work with modest supervision and have sound judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain Special Access Clearance Required DAY ONE

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in handling Government Property
  • Experience in working with multiple functional organizations
  • Current or previous experience working in Radar Sensor Systems (RSS)
