Job Description

This is an opportunity to join the Protected Communications Systems within SAS as a Manager I Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will collaborate with key functional team members in the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain as well as ICS Stakeholders to support financial reviews and implementation of Force Element Terminals (FET), a $400M+ Prototype Program. In this role, the candidate will have a deep foundation in program control and earned value, including supporting quarterly Estimates-at-Complete (EACs), Monthly Operation Reviews (MBRs), and contract-specific external deliverables. In addition, primary responsibilities will include utilizing the full complement of program controls tools (Business Warehouse, SAP/APEX, PMX Tool Suite) to provide targeted EVMS analysis that guides efficiencies and meets internal and external EVMS compliance standards. The candidate will be a technical analysis focal point for Control Account Managers (CAMs) and the Program Office to support the development of various program funding profiles, sales outlooks, billing projections, and Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) as well as the maintenance of robust program logs and baseline control processes. The program has high visibility at all levels of the ICS and SAS organizations; frequent exposure to senior leadership should be expected. Relationship building is key for this role. You are a thoughtful, creative problem-solver.
This position will be an integrated part of a dynamic finance team where tactical thinking, multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements. The successful candidate will use their leadership attributes as a key business partner within a matrix business environment for aiding program level decisions and ensuring proper implementation of directives. This role may include supervisory/management experience. You are committed to excellence.

Required Skills

Minimum 6 years of related work experience with program financial management activities, including cost and scheduling.
Excellent computer skills, which include high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel – Advanced MS Excel [Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros, etc.].
Proficient in APEX EV and working knowledge of the SAP functions.
Professional experience of applied EVMS principles including EVMS Certification
Ability to interact with and guide team members at every level of the Financial and Program Office organizations

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related Business Major
