Job Description

Support the financial responsibilities for the Resilient Navigation (R-Nav) Modernized area. This is an exciting opportunity to support a recently awarded development contract that enables the modernization of Raytheon’s GPS Receiver capabilities. This technology has potential uses on Aircraft, Weapon, and ground based systems. This team member will be responsible for supporting Estimates at Completion (EACs) which will require you to partner with other functional leads and perform analysis providing informed business decisions.

You will be responsible for preparing various analyses to ensure accurate reporting and early warning of issues. Analyses include risks and opportunities, and variances to plan and forecast. Other responsibilities include consolidating financial data for various reviews including the monthly Program Management Review (PMR), weekly Short Range Outlook (SRO) for financial forecasts, weekly customer meetings and various levels of internal leadership meetings. You will also be responsible for continuing to identify ways to improve processes and further levels of efficiency.

In addition to supporting Modernized program activities, you will assist the R-Nav product area with monthly forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and 5 Year Strategic Planning activities. Also, you will engage with the GNS FP&A lead supporting the update of financial forecasts in RPlan, Raytheon’s excel-based forecasting tool.

This R-Nav finance position provides an excellent opportunity for someone to continue to develop their EAC skillset including reporting and participation in reviews. This position also provides opportunities to continue to develop their FP&A skills at a business level.

Required Skills:
•Minimum 2 years of related finance experience
•Excellent desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
•Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and create and accurately analyze cost data
•Great organizational skills in coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
•Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Engineering, etc.) in program financial planning and analysis
•Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal communication

Desired Skills:
•Knowledge of Earned Value concepts [Not required, willing to train]
•Financial Planning & Analysis experience
•Shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis
•Experience in preparing Estimates at Completion (EACs) [Not required, willing to train]
•Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Software

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline
