Job Description:
Raytheon is looking for a College Intern to join its Supply Chain Management team. You will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Subcontracts - supporting multiple programs within the Space and Airborne Systems business unit.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Works closely with Subcontract Managers and Bid/Proposal Teams to support quick turn supplier Request for Proposals.
  • Supports other Subcontract Managers/Specialists to obtain updates to delivery dates and other commitments; and update SAP business systems (PRISM) accordingly to support MRP requirement alignment with Non Support Delivery Metrics.
  • Supports reduction of Purchase Requisition (PRs) to Purchase Order (PO) placement cycle times by reviewing PRs for deficiencies and works with responsible functions until PR and support documentation is 100% complete and accurate.
  • Tracking and expediting the Repair/Return purchase order purchase order process
  • RMAs, QNs,
  • Issue/track repair POs
  • Pursues delinquent Supplier purchase order acknowledgements from Suppliers
  • Setup of new suppliers in WEBESD and TSD
  • Follow up with suppliers on the completion of required annual certifications
  • Develop efficient tools to capture/analyze/report on metric data in support of weekly/monthly Supply Chain metrics

For Multi-Level Intern Requisitions:
This position can be a Salary Grade of G04 or G05 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
  • G04 (College Junior by Fall 2020) - must have completed 60 hours of college
  • G05 (College Senior by Fall 2020) - must have completed 90 hours of college
  • NUG (Post- Graduate-Masters-PhD by Fall 2020) - must have an undergraduate degree and currently enrolled or about to enroll in a graduate degree program
Required Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
  • Must be a college Junior, Senior, or Graduate student by Fall 2020
Desired Skills:
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
  • Detail oriented and able to work multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in teams and lead projects
  • Experience with public speaking
Required Education:
  • Currently pursuing a BS / BA Degree from an Accredited University and entering as a college Junior or Senior year OR pursuing a MS / MA / PhD by Fall 2020. Must be working towards a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or other related discipline.
