Job Description

The Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Partnering for IIS will be responsible for leading efforts to identify, build/maintain relationships, and partner with critical IIS suppliers that will be critical in the execution of IIS’s growth strategy and Raytheon Company’s Digital Technology commodity. A specific focus in this regard will be towards building a strong strategy with our supply base that includes Computer Hardware, Software, Cloud, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Internet of Things. This role will work closely with engineering, program leadership, mission area contracts and supply chain leadership, and business development to collaboratively address strategic sourcing and partnering priorities, including execution. This role will report to the IIS Director of Subcontracts and Integrated Procurement Solutions, and can be based in Dulles VA, Burlington MA, Aurora CO, El Segundo CA, Richardson TX, or Indianapolis IN.
The initial focus of this role will be to work closely with Mission Area leadership as part of completing an organizational diagnostic that will outline a detailed strategy to drive sourcing and partnering efforts. Additionally, quick integration with the Enterprise computer hardware and software team will be essential. This role will also have key interface responsibilities with SEAC, SEP, and the Enterprise Strategic Sourcing council.
The Manager will be responsible for executing Procurement strategies that align with Mission Area Supply Chain and Program strategies supporting both the capture and execution of business. Strategies will focus on improving our competitive advantage through lowering costs, improving cycle times, and maintaining compliance to all FAR / DFAR requirements and IIS Procurement policies and procedures.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, SCM or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor's Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience).

Desired Skills:
  • Computer Hardware and/or Software procurement/sourcing experience
  • Ability to collaborate and operate effectively with a virtual team
  • Sound leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity
  • Raytheon Subcontract, MPM, and/or Procurement Certification
  • SEAC or Commodity Strategy Experience/Knowledge
  • Raytheon Six Sigma (R6?)
