Job Description

Control Account Manager
Colorado Springs, CO


Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is seeking a Control Account Manager (CAM) Lead for the Multi-Domain Battle Management program area. The CAM lead will be responsible for managing a team of 3-5 CAMs on the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITA/AA) Sustained Support Contract (NISSC) as well as performing as an individual contributor CAM on the C2BMC program.

Responsibilities include:
  • Control Account Management on the C2BMC program
  • Proposal support, to include tracking of costs, creation of BOEs, and proposal reviews
  • Support to planning and finance on cost estimate and schedule development
  • Support to Program Manager(s) (PMs) on risk and opportunity management
  • Support to PMs and Program Engineer(s) (PEs) on establishing and maintaining performance measures
  • Issuance of secondary work authorizations
  • Support to IMS maintenance as needed
  • Development and presentation of monthly reviews
  • Establishing consistent CAM execution across the NISSC program, to include process improvement in initial baselining and month end statusing
Clearance Requirements : Secret (clearable to TS/SCI)


Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a CAM
  • Raytheon EVMS certification or equivalent
  • Experience working with Microsoft Project
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline environment
  • Experience planning technical programs and supporting systems development
  • Knowledge of systems engineering roles and functions, including operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, synthesis, and verification and validation
  • Experience in planning, tracking and executing full engineering development lifecycle activities
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, management, and stakeholders in a professional and diplomatic manner
  • Ability to lead change in process improvement, to include training and team communication
  • Ability to anaylze EV data and perform trend analysis to determine program cost/schedule/technical health and to provide forecast data to PMs

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working with USAF customers
  • Experience in NORAD/NORTHCOM ITW/AA development and/or operations
  • Experience using APEX, Microsoft Project and other finance, planning, and data analysis tools
  • Experience leading teams and/or functional management responsibilities
  • Qualified Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent

Required Education:
  • Master's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or an Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
