This is a temporary position of undetermined length. Pay is via a third party vendor. Not eligible for Raytheon benefits.

Raytheon Corporate Headquarters is seeking an accomplished Employee Relations Specialist. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with administrative and legal requirements related to employment, consistently and rigorously addressing employee issues, and providing employee relations advice, counsel and training. The role is also responsible for employee relations data analysis and reporting, AAP development and communication, and HR policy management.

Key responsibilities are listed below:

  • Conduct employee relations investigations, prepare written report on findings, and engage with HR partners and managers to address employee issues and concerns
  • Provide advice and counsel on employee relations matters
  • Gather employee relations data through various methods, from mining internal HR systems to external market data sources that look at past trends, current conditions, competitor data and industry trending. Analyze multiple data sets to deliver actionable intelligence and recommendations
  • Manage the development and communication of Affirmative Action Plans
  • Manage the development, updates, review and approval of HR policies and procedures

Required Skills:
  • 6 years of experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years direct experience conducting Employee Relations investigations
  • Possess and maintain familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent investigation skills
  • Excellent documentation and report writing skills
  • Demonstrated data analytics experience
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced HR systems, Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in the development of Affirmative Action Plans and OFCCP audit response
  • Experience in developing and managing HR policies
Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's degree
