Job Description

The Raytheon Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) Internship engages participants in a challenging 3-month assignment focused on developing business acumen and leadership skills while obtaining broad exposure to our numerous HR functions, including: Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Global Talent Development, Organizational Effectiveness, HR Operations, Labor Relations, Compensation, Performance Development, and Diversity & Inclusion. The internship is designed to engage the participants in meaningful work that is directly connected to meeting business objectives.

HRLDP Interns will learn how to partner with managers to execute critical HR processes that enable business success. Also, they will learn how to work collaboratively with multiple HR functions and teams to provide high-impact HR solutions to their business partners. HRLDP Interns will be coached on how to establish trusted relationships with their stakeholders through disciplined collaboration, effective communication and partnering skills.

The HRLDP Internship Program offers a comprehensive assimilation and mentoring program along with formal and on-the-job learning and development. Throughout the duration of the internship, HRLDP Interns have the opportunity to work within their geographically dispersed intern cohort on a projects sponsored by senior HR leadership.

Potential internship locations include but are not limited to: Tucson, AZ; El Segundo, CA; Washington, DC; Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; Dulles, VA.

Required Skills, Knowledge, & Experience:
Required Skills:
  • Applicants must be mobile and willing to relocate for their internship
  • 3.0 Cumulative GPA or greater
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
Required Education:
  • Candidate must be positioned to obtain their MS/MA/MBA with emphasis in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development or other HR related field between December of 2020 and June of 2021. Copies of transcripts are required when applying to this position.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
  • Prior business experience in HR
