Job Description:
Are you ready to apply your engineering talents to rewarding, real-world problems today? We are looking for a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer Intern to help design, build, test, and maintain applications and systems for wireless communications for the US intelligence community.

The candidate will work with experienced system engineers and DSP engineers in our Sunnyvale, CA, office to apply cutting edge technology to engineer products for the protection of our country.

Required Skills:

  • Training and experience with Matlab
  • Course work in one or more of the following: digital communications, signals and systems, control systems, digital signal processing
  • Training in software development in C/C++
  • Must be a college Junior or Senior or Graduate student by Fall 2019
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of wireless communications standards/protocols (e.g. GSM, CDMA2000, EVDO, WCDMA, LTE)
  • Effective listening, written and verbal communications skills
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

Required Education (including major): Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year university and entering as a college Junior or Senior OR pursuing a MS / MA / PhD by Fall 2019. Must be working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering or related. Must be appropriate grade level listed above.
