Bring your talent and skills to Raytheon Intelligence, Information, and Services Engineering team!
Raytheon Intelligence Information and Services (IIS) is looking for Manufacturing Engineers to join the Engineering team at our Pittsfield, MA location.
The entry level manufacturing engineer in this position will participate in the day to day activities of a depot level repair facility. You will apply fundamental engineering skills in areas of requirements analysis, process development and documentation for assembly and inspection procedures associated with highly complex electromechanical instruments and systems. The position requires effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Good computer skills are also required including use of MS Excel and MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
Required Skills
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend both mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles, tooling, equipment and material
  • Experience using MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Desired Skills
  • Secret or higher level security clearance
  • Industry related internship experience
  • Experience with process development and documentation
  • Experience with mechanical assembly at a microscopic level
  • Experience with failure and trend analysis
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field awarded within the past 18 months or by Summer 2018.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired (Please include GPA on resume)
