As a defense contractor, there are specific programs requiring a certain level of security clearance and special access for assigned staff. The selected candidate will be required to secure these accesses. Job Description:

We are hiring new college graduates to develop software for our Advanced Communications department's Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) software section located at the US Army Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Maryland. Advanced Communications is a leading provider of air traffic control and IFF systems to US and international customers, and its success and global presence is achieved through customer focus, state-of-the-art technology, and total system solutions that include automation and radar.

Candidate will be involved in design, code, integration, and test of Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) product line software components including but not limited to interrogators, transponders, control panels, test sets, and cryptographic devices.

Required Skills:
  • Coursework or experience with C, C++ and/or JAVA
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance within 1 year of start date
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
