Job Description

Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) has an entry-level Production Support Engineer position for recent college graduates to join our Hardware and Infrastructure (HWI) team located in Indianapolis, IN. This role will support the technical aspects of military airborne radar repair programs as a member of a multi-disciplined engineering team. An incredible opportunity to learn from some of the best and brightest minds! The successful candidate will possess technical ability in repair/test, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will also possess expertise in the specification development and troubleshooting of the associated test equipment. This includes supporting multiple military programs.

Required Skills:
  • Ability to read schematics and basic knowledge of reading mechanical drawings
  • Experience testing and repairing analog, digital and RF circuitry that may utilize test equipment that is computer controlled or manually operated
  • Working knowledge of measurement techniques in microwave electronic such as VSWR, Insertion loss etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and apply decision making skills with minimal supervision
  • Familiar with Analog, Digital and RF instrumentation (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, DMM, Counter, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter)
  • Strong problem solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challanegs
  • Basic MS office skills
  • Ability to work in a process oriented organization
  • Detail oriented, organized, self-starter, multi-tasker and team player are all required skills for this role
Security Clearance- This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Desired Skills:
  • Prior work or intern experience is highly desirable
  • Background in RF and power supply theory is a plus
  • Programming experience with C++ and LabVIEW
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is highly desired

Required Education:
A technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a closely related field obtained in the last 18 months or by Summer 2019. Please include your GPA on your resume and include a copy of your transcript.
