The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that focuses on product producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically.

Raytheon SAS is looking for an entry-level Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to the component level.
  • Resolution of issues in production and in testing.
  • Root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
  • Identification for areas of improvement with current processes.
  • Create troubleshoot guides and other technical documentation.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge/interest in digital processor modules.
  • Must be able to travel between McKinney and the Dallas North Building
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance. Must have the ability to obtain special program access within one year of being hired.

Desired skills:

  • Technical writing and formal presentations.
  • Knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication and circuit card assembly processes.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)


Required Education:
Must have a BS / BA from an accredited university with a major in Electrical Engineering or other related field by Fall 2017 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date
