At Raytheon, our Global Trade Professionals are the company experts in the compliant execution of international business in accordance with U.S. export and import laws and regulations. Export/Import (EX/IM) controls protect national security and are critical to our global success. Global Trade professionals enable Raytheon to make sound business decisions by providing governance and guidance, to all functions, relative to the mandatory requirements and company processes.

The Global Trade Leadership Development Program (GTLDP) participants will be given challenging assignments that will develop functional skills. Participants may have the opportunity to travel throughout the country to attend training sessions that provide not only EX/IM specific training but also finance, leadership, and business acumen. Participants will visit Raytheon Businesses during the program and will have exposure to Raytheon leadership across the company.

Recruiting now for class of 2021, which begins in June/July 2019. The GTLDP is a two (2) year program, consisting of two (2) one (1) year relocations/assignments in our US locations.

Types of degrees recruited: Undergraduate degree in fields such as (but not limited to): International Trade, International Business, Economics, Law, or International Studies. Copies of transcripts required.

US Citizenship required: This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Program Requirements:
  • Willingness to relocate for the 2 rotational assignments during a two-year period
  • 3.0 Cumulative GPA (out of a 4.0 scale)
  • Demonstrated history of Leadership
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance*
  • Undergraduate (Bachelor) degree must be obtained between December 2018 and June 2019
Desired Qualifications:
  • Internship in International Trade Compliance
  • 3.3 Cumulative GPA (out of a 4.0 scale)
  • Initiative, strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
