Job Description

Join the IDS Program Planning & Scheduling team as a Technical Planner, supporting Raytheon’s Integrated Air & Missile Defense Business Area. As a Technical Planner you will partner with various functions including finance, engineering, contracts, and the program management office to ensure that the program is performed within contractual agreed-upon parameters.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Project Management, Planning and Scheduling tasks
  • Supporting development, maintenance, and analysis of the program Master Phasing Schedule, Integrated Master Plan, and Integrated Master Schedule

This position will get exposure to international programs, experience Earned Value Management (EVM) compliance, Integrated Master Plan and Schedule process and deliverables, Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) and more.

This position will be located in Andover, MA.This position can be a Salary Grade G06 or G07 based on the candidate's qualifications as it relates to the educational requirement for the position.

Required Skills:

  • 0-2 years of experience in Program Planning, Program management and/or Program Planning & Scheduling
  • Demonstrated experience using MS Office suite products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)

Desired Skills:

  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Microsoft Project experience including Microsoft Project Server
  • An interest in supporting programs and contracts within a Government Contracting environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong problem solving skills
  • Team player who has the ability to work cross functionally and with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and skills such as: Achieving Process Excellence (APEX) or similar EVMS tools; software applications such as Milestones Professional, Primavera Risk Analysis, Tableau; Critical Chain, Six Sigma/Lean/Agile concepts

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field (desired focus in Industrial, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering) and/or a degree in a STEM related field 113549BR 113549
