Job Description

This position supports the internal and 3rd party source inspection both in the U.S. and internationally. The individual interfaces with supply chain, 3rd party inspection agencies, suppliers, and other supplier quality team members to ensure that these inspections are scheduled and executed in a timely manner following all required quality and Exim requirements.
This role requires daily interaction with other cross-business teams in IDS to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.

This individual will lead several continuous improvement projects related to the Source Inspection Process. These will include Developing a nationwide source forecasting demand tool, developing an automated Source scheduling tool and Source Inspection effectiveness improvements.

In addition the individual will work Corrective action requests and Quality walk back activities as requested by the various IDS programs.

Required Skills:
  • Candidates must have obtained an undergraduate or graduate degree by Summer of 2018 or completed a degree no more than 18 months prior to start date, with an emphasis in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office in particular Excel

    · U.S. Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

·Ability to build relationships with other Raytheon Cross Business Teams

· Good problem solving skills

·Ability to read mechanical and/or electrical drawings and interpret requirements.

·Understanding of 6 sigma tools

·Strong communication (both verbal and written) and influencing skills

·Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment

·SAP experience or other ERP system

·Database Management experience

·Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
