Job Title: University Programs: Manufacturing Support Intern (Junior or Senior)

Job Description:
This position is for an intern in the Radar & Combat Products Value Stream. The role is expected to manage special projects with the factory to help improve manufacturing processes and procedures. This would include assessing project issues, developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction and working with the management team to implement new improvements. Other tasks can include developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and overall improvement results. The position will be expected to interact daily with functional and factory resources to ensure all requirements are met.

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.

For Multi-Level Intern Requisitions:
This position can be a Salary Grade of G04 or G05 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

  • G04 (College Junior by Fall 2018) - must have completed 60 hours of college
  • G05 (College Senior by Fall 2018) - must have completed 90 hours of college

Required Skills:

  • Leadership experience
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience working with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
  • Ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons
  • Must be a college Junior or Senior student by Fall 2018
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:

  • Relative work experience
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

Required Education (including major): Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year university and entering as a college Junior or Senior year by Fall 2018. Must be working towards a degree in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or equivalent technical discipline. Must be appropriate grade level listed above.
