Raytheon Intelligence Information and Services is seeking a Finance Intern to provide financial support to the Cyber Security and Innovations Program Controls (Finance) team located in Fort Meade, Maryland.

The finance intern will have an active role in reconciling cash accounts, tracking weekly indirect and direct expenditures as well as provide ad hoc assistance to teammates and management.


Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate include:
  • Support finance team in reconciling cash accounts
  • Complete cost transfers when applicable
  • Analyze weekly revenue and profit reports
  • Track weekly indirect expenditures against budget
Required Skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to perform financial research and analysis and provide recommendations to the team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Desired Skills
  • Self-starter and highly motivated individual with a positive "Can do" attitude
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and presentation skills
Required Education
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the area of Business, Finance, or Accounting. A GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale is desired. Please include your transcript with your resume. You must have obtained sophomore, junior, or senior status as of summer 2018.

This position can be for a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior Internship based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

·Freshman status – must have completed up to 29 hours of college credits towards degree as of Summer 2018.
·Sophomore status – must have completed 30 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Sophomore status as of Summer 2018.
·Junior status – must have completed 60 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Junior status as of Summer 2018.
·Senior status – must have completed 90 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Senior status as of Summer 2018.
