Job Description

The Intelligence, Information, and Services Business within Raytheon has an exciting Finance internship opportunity. The candidate must express a can do attitude and willingness to learn in order to develop a Program Control/Financial Planning & Analysis skill set that will provide a great foundation of experience in project control and/or financial analysis. Duties include running reports from various software tools, providing timely and detailed data to management, and preparing/routing journal vouchers and labor corrections. The candidate will also support the team with putting together the monthly financial forecasts as well as support other business analysts.

Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate include:
  • Support business & finance analysts in day-to-day task order management
  • Report generation and financial analysis of program data
  • Financial support activities as needed/required

Required Skills
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize financial software
  • Proficient desktop computer skills, focus on advanced spreadsheet tools knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
Desired Skills
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills
  • Major/minor degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

Required Education
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a technical degree in the area of Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. A GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale is desired. Please include your transcript with your resume. You must have obtained sophomore, junior, or senior status as of summer 2018.

This position can be for a Freshman, Sophmore, Junior, or Senior Internship based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

This position requires the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
