Job Description

The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that focuses on product producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically.

The successful candidate will test and troubleshoot several types of digital Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) in a Depot environment. You will also develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements. You will interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause
  • Experience with EE lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
  • Ability to read drawings and electrical schematics
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to support testing and troubleshooting of multiple digital CCA types
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to document test results and repair recommendations clearly and concisely
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency with LabVIEW
  • Asset JTAG proficiency
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance (see below)
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying)

Required Education:
Must have a BS / BA from an accredited university with a major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field by Summer 2018 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date..
