Job Description:
Raytheon is seeking a Financial Analyst I to join our team in McKinney, Texas, supporting the CERVESA Proprietary business area. This position will support the daily business related to financial activities and analysis, forecast and estimate-at-completes (EAC), budget preparation, project setup, charge number management and contract closures. The selected candidate will collect and report data, analyze data for financial accuracy and trends, and prepare financial reports. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required as well as support of 5-Year and Annual Plan (AOP) forecasting. Ability to partner with other functions and flexibility to meet business expectations is needed.

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.

  • Mathematical and analytical skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

  • Self-starter, organization skills and shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis
  • Knowledge of finance principles, concepts and practices of industry processes, such as Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Estimate-at-Completes (EAC)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with program management (Good interpersonal skills)
  • Works under general direction and participates in determining objectives of assignment plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives after training period
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience in DoD or Aerospace

Required Education: Must have a BS / BA from an ABET accredited university with a major in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field by Summer 2018 or have graduated within 18 months prior to start date.
